A light bulb smashed in slow motion

UltraSlo, who are specialized in creating unique images in slow motion and 3D, uploaded a cool slow motion video where they busted a light bulb with a hammer.

The video is taken at 2500 FPS. You can see, just a little before the bulb broke, the 60Hz pulsing of the filament. The pulse is actually air that rushes into the bulb and heats up when hitting the wire! Something that is absolutely impossible for our eyes to notice. That’s so cool! 😀
